Resent researches have shown that Camu fruit, when compared with orange, provides 100 times more natural vitamin C. It is very easy to compare: oranges provide 500-4,000 ppm of vitamin C; acerola has tested in the range of 16,000 to 172,000 ppm. And Camu provides up to 500,000 ppm, or about 2 grams of vitamin C per 100 grams of fruit! Anoter great thing about this fruit is that it also presents a significant source of potassium, has a wide variety of minerals and amino acids that promote the absorption of vitamin C.
